We pay our shareholders a modest annual dividend. Oikocredit finances and invests in microfinance institutions, co-operatives and small and medium enterprises in developing countries, aimed at positive social impact.
Yet, Oikocredit is more than an investment institution. We are movement for social change.

We are helping to introduce the idea that international development is not charity bestowed by the wealthy. It is solidarity between investors and borrowers.
